Applecross Beach

Applecross Beach is located in Applecross peninsula, Wester Ross, Scotland. Applecross has a beautiful environment that gives off the impression that you are at the 'edge of the world', mostly for its lack of accessibility. The peninsula faces west, watching over Applecross Bay and the Inner Sound to Raasay, with Skye’s Trotternish Peninsula behind Raasay. As well as a Heritage Centre and campsite, the well-known Applecross Inn sits by the water and the direct environment is clean, unspoiled and wonderful. The sandy beach is located several miles outside the village, backed by high dunes and is great for swimming.
