About Loch Earn

Lock Earn is located near the village of Lochearnhead, in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The village is the centre for the water sports activities on the lake, such as water skiing, canoeing, sailing. This loch is stocked frequently with brown and rainbow trout, fishing being possible only by permit, from the shore and by boat. Ben Vorlich lies to the south of the loch and it is a popular climb, views from the top being stunning. It is the source of the River Earn which joins the River Tay near the village of Bridge of Earn, in Perthshire.
