Learn the basics of white water kayaking while enjoying some of Wales' most sensational scenery with this experience in the lively North Wales town of Llangollen. Based in an area of outstanding natural beauty, River Dee is home to some of the country's most inspiring sights, with rapids which are perfect for putting kayaking skills to the test. Kick off with a safety briefing, get kitted out and take the minibus to the river. Under the guidance of an expert instructor, start in calm waters to get to grips with paddling and boat control, before taking on your first rapid. Once confident, set out on a wild kayaking adventure on this three kilometre river stretch, being guided by the expert and riding some of the most exciting white water in Wales.
Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period.
Kayaking goes ahead in most conditions but may be affected by extreme weather. If cancelled, a different date can be arranged (if cancelled several times, an alternative activity can be offered).

Please bring swimwear, a towel, a pair of old trainers and a change of clothes (no showers, but dry changing rooms are available). Wet suits and all specialist equipment are provided.
Minimum age is 14. Children under 18 must have written permission (a consent form) from a parent or guardian. Some disabilities can be catered for; please check before booking.
