Stand up paddling boarding (also known as SUP) is taking the nation by storm and for anyone looking for an alternative to kayaking or surfing, this exciting new watersport is pure joy. Enjoy a hands-on two hour introduction to paddleboarding and learn all the basics from an official ASI accredited SUP instructor. Kick things off with a safety briefing then hit the water for some fun-filled paddleboarding action. Learn perfect paddling, steering and balancing under the guidance of a qualified instructor and, once confident, test your newfound skills by cruising around on local waters whilst soaking in the stunning river bank scenery. By the end of this paddleboarding session, you may even be gliding along the water like a pro!
Runs most evenings from 1 April - 30 September.
Call the day before to confirm go ahead. Conditions on the day determine the best surfing location. For safety, if instructors deem things unsuitable, they directly rebook another mutually convenient date.

Share the lesson with nine others, plus a fully-qualified instructor.
Spectators are welcome to watch from the side.
Please bring a swimming costume, towel, waterproof sunblock, sunglasses and warm clothing. All paddleboarding equipment is supplied.
Minimum age is eight. Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 50 metres and have a good level of fitness. To make special disability arrangements, please discuss needs at point of booking.
