Stand up paddleboarding is one of the UK's fastest growing watersports and a must try for avid aquatic adventurers. An exciting alternative to kayaking or surfing, this challenging new watersport is a joy and there's no better place to pick it up than in the surrounds of the Avon Wildlife & Adventure Park. Enjoy a two hour introduction to paddleboarding and learn all the skills required from a qualified instructor. Start with a briefing before hitting the River Avon for some stand up paddleboarding action. Learn how to kneel, paddle, stand, balance and steer the board under professional guidance. There's even the chance to try out a genuine rescue technique. Who knows, before long, you may even be gliding along the water like a pro!
At least one weekday and one weekend each month.
