Paddleboarding is fun, active and one of the UK's fastest growing watersports. If you are looking to try a new and exciting sport, this paddleboarding lesson based in the city at London's Paddington Basin is the answer. During the experience, learn all the essential paddleboarding basics from a seasoned instructor and get to grips with skills such as prone paddling, board handling techniques, self-rescue, foot position, standing up and board control. Once you're paddling like a pro (well, almost!), enjoy a guided trip along the Paddington Basin and soak in some of its very best sights including some impressive boats, canal barges and local landmarks. This emerging water-based sport is must try for any aquatic adventurer.
Runs at least one weekday per month throughout the year, with additional weekend dates May - October. With group bookings of four or more, extra dates may be available.
This experience is only ever cancelled in extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please call before setting off. In the event of a cancellation, an alternative date can be arranged.
Numbers On Day
Share the experience with up to seven other keen paddleboarders, plus a qualified instructor.
Bring a swimming costume, towel, old trainers or watersports shoes, waterproof sun block, sunglasses and clothing (suitable for weather on the day).
Minimum age is 16. Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres unaided and are asked to sign a medical declaration on the day.
