Try one of the most popular extreme sports in the UK - bungee jumping. After being carefully secured with a bungee harness and ankle straps, head to the top of a 160 foot crane and head out onto the platform. Take a brave leap towards the ground below before the bungee rope re-coils, lunging back towards the sky. Once back on the floor, video footage of the experience will be available to purchase to take home as a keepsake.
Around three weekend dates a year.
High winds or heavy rain might prevent your jump going ahead. If in doubt, call the venue to check before you leave.
Bring as many spectators as you like - get them to bring along a camera or video.
Wear long trousers rather than a skirt (you'll be upside down!). Glasses and hard contact lenses must be removed prior to jumping.
